How do I book a cab with Gooride? Popular

You can book a cab with Gooride in several ways:

  • Mobile App: Download the Gooride app from Google Play or App Store, create an account, and book your ride
  • Website: Visit our website and use the booking form

Simply enter your pickup and drop locations, select your preferred cab type, and confirm your booking.

Can I schedule a ride in advance?

Yes! Gooride offers advance booking up to 7 days in advance. You can schedule your ride through the app by selecting the "Schedule" option when booking. We recommend scheduling at least 2 hours in advance for airport rides and 4 hours for outstation trips.

How do I track my cab after booking?

Once your booking is confirmed, you can track your cab in real-time through the Gooride app. The app shows:

  • Driver's name, photo, and rating
  • Cab model and license plate number
  • Real-time location on map
  • Estimated time of arrival (ETA)

You'll also receive SMS updates with driver details and ride status.

What if I can't find my driver at the pickup point?

If you're having trouble finding your driver:

  • Use the "Call Driver" feature in the app to contact them directly
  • Check the live location tracking to see exactly where the cab is
  • Look for the cab with the license plate number provided in the app
  • If you still can't locate the driver, contact our 24/7 customer support

Your fare is calculated based on several factors:

  • Base Fare: Starting fare depending on cab type
  • Distance: Per kilometer rate after the first few kilometers
  • Time: Per minute charge for waiting time
  • Tolls & Taxes: Any applicable toll charges and GST

You'll see an estimated fare before booking. The final fare may vary slightly based on actual distance and time.

Will I get an invoice for my ride?

Yes! After every completed ride, you'll receive:

  • Digital invoice via email
  • Ride receipt in the app under "My Rides"
  • SMS with fare breakdown

For corporate accounts, detailed monthly statements are also available.

Cancellation Policy

What is your cancellation policy? Popular

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both passengers and drivers:

  • Free Cancellation: Up to 30 minutes before pickup - No charge
  • Late Cancellation: Less than 30 minutes before pickup - ₹50 fee
  • Driver Arrived: After driver reaches pickup location - ₹100 fee
  • No-Show: Passenger not available at pickup - Full fare charged

Cancellations due to emergency or app issues can be appealed to customer support.

How do I cancel a booked ride?

To cancel a ride:

  1. Open the Gooride app and go to "My Rides"
  2. Select the active ride you want to cancel
  3. Tap on "Cancel Ride" button
  4. Select a reason for cancellation
  5. Confirm cancellation

You'll receive a confirmation message and any applicable cancellation fee will be displayed.

Can I request a specific driver?

Currently, Gooride assigns the nearest available driver to ensure quick pickup. However, you can:

  • Mark drivers as "Favorite" in the app for priority matching
  • Request the same driver for round trips
  • For corporate accounts, dedicated drivers can be arranged

Account Management

How do I create a Gooride account?

Creating a Gooride account is simple:

  1. Download the Gooride app from Google Play or App Store
  2. Tap "Sign Up" and enter your mobile number
  3. Verify with OTP sent to your phone
  4. Add your name and email address
  5. You're ready to book rides!

You can also sign up using Google or Facebook for faster registration.

How do I delete my Gooride account?

To delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings in the Gooride app
  2. Select "Privacy & Security"
  3. Tap on "Delete Account"
  4. Follow the confirmation steps

Note: Account deletion is irreversible. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days as per our privacy policy.

If you're experiencing app issues, try these steps:
